HomeMade Pineapple & Apple Jam

wish to make the homemade jam a few months ago, but i have to collect a few glass jars for my needs as i don't want to buy any new jars and prefer recycling. so until today it's time to start.

ingredients:
fresh pineapple 360g
apple 360g
sugar 280g (cut 1/3 sugar is ok)
lemon juice 1pc

  1. cut the pineapple and apple into small pieces
  2. add sugar into #1 and let it soak for overnight (can also be made immediately)
  3. add lemon juice then cook on the small fire
  4. cook until the texture is thicken (remember to keep stirring)
  5. put jam into the sterilized jar
  6. turn the jar upside down and cool down

the jam can be last for 2 to 3 weeks.

i am so happy the jam is successfully made, and taste really really yummy and it's so fresh and taste fruity. the satisfaction is higher than making cookie :D

from my experience, i think at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the fruits should be in the form of puree instead of small pcs. tomorrow my lovely kids will enjoy it with the slice bread.
