Chinese Bun



i finally make the chinese bun, i've been talking about this new project for at least 2 months, it's very successful, from the kneading part i think there is something wrong, because the dough is not soft and not raising at all and i want to give up and start over tomorrow, but then i keep doing it until the end ... woo wow .... when i open the lid of the wok, aiya, the buns become double of the size and the outlook are so wonderful, and the taste is good, i am so happy i didn't give up, and avery eats 3 buns and chloe eats 1.

ingredients
flour 3 cups
baking powder 1tsp
milk 1 1/4cup
sugar 3tsp
yeast 1 1/2tsp

  1. mix sugar, yeast and milk together
  2. put the rest of the ingredients into #1
  3. kneading until smooth
  4. cover the dough, set aside for 10mins
  5. flatten it and make a long roll
  6. cut into the desire shape and size
  7. put each bun on the baking paper
  8. set aside for another 10mins
  9. steam with cold water first, until the steam comes out, about 4mins
  10. turn to the small fire and steam for another 10mins
