馬豆糕

my sister loves 馬 豆糕 very much, and i copy the recipe from the internet and make it a few times already. it's easy and simple, texture is smooth enough, and if u make it, sift the cornstarch is a must!! for the 馬 豆, $5 is about 200g.

ingredients
coconut milk 400g big can
evaporated milk 160g small can
cornstarch 250g

馬 豆 100g
water 5 cups
sugar 300g

  1. clean the container and chill in the freezer for at least 30mins
  2. soak 馬 豆 for 2 hours
  3. put 馬 豆 into the boiled water, cook for 10mins, then off fire and let it soak for another 10mins
  4. mix cornstarch, evaporated milk and coconut milk togehter
  5. boil the 5 cups water and melt the sugar
  6. slowly add the cornstarch mixture into the sugar water, keep stirring in one direction and the texture thicken very fast.
  7. off fire then add 馬 豆 and mix them well
  8. pour it into the cold-container
  9. cool down and keep into the fridge
